Dr. Xiang Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Queen's University, affiliated with the Smith Engineering Faculty. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University, an M.Eng. in Systems Engineering from Zhejiang University, and a B.Eng. in Industrial Automation, also from Zhejiang University. His research focuses on optimizing complex engineering systems under uncertainty, with emphasis on energy and water networks, production planning, and data-driven optimization techniques.
