Xi Yang

Xi Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia. Their research focuses on vegetation-climate interactions, particularly the impacts of climate change on photosynthesis, plant functioning, and ecosystem fluxes. They utilize remote sensing, data assimilation, and computational modeling to bridge observations with predictions of carbon, water, and energy dynamics.
