XOSE LOPEZ GARCIA

Xose Lopez Garcia is a Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Department of Communication Sciences within the Faculty of Communication Sciences. He is also associated with the Institute of Studies and Development of Galicia (IDEGA). His research focuses on New Media, specifically exploring trends in cybermedia, print media, and the role of local publications in Galician contexts.

He earned his Doctorate from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1994 with a thesis titled The Role of Local Publications in Galicia at the End of the Century (1990-1993), supervised by Dr. Margarita Ledo Andión and Dr. Xosé Ramón Barreiro Fernández.
