Wolfram Weckwerth is a Full Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, and Head of the Department of Ecogenomics and Systems Biology since 2013. He founded the Vienna Metabolomics Center (VIME) in 2015, integrating environmental, biotechnological, and biomedical research. His work spans plant, microbial, and human systems, focusing on genotype-environment-phenotype relationships using metabolomics, proteomics, and systems biology.
