Wolfgang Karl David Pitsch

Wolfgang Karl David Pitsch is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), affiliated with the Laboratori d'interaccions entre geometria, àlgebra i topologia (LIGAT). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Université Paris Diderot (2001) and an engineering degree from École Polytechnique (1996). His research focuses on algebraic topology, homology theories, and geometric group theory, with contributions to conjugation spaces, manifold structures, and mapping class groups.
