David Marin Perez

David Marin Perez is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), affiliated with the Laboratori d'interaccions entre geometria, àlgebra i topologia (LIGAT). He earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UAB (2001) and a Llicenciat in Mathematics from Universitat de Barcelona (1995).

His research focuses on holomorphic foliations, complex projective geometry, and dynamical systems. Key areas include bifurcation theory, quadratic systems, and the geometry of foliations on complex manifolds. His work often explores asymptotic expansions, limit cycles, and curvature properties of planar webs.

• Notable projects: Co-Investigator in 'Estructuras geométricas' (2016–2019), Principal Investigator in 'Variedades complejas, dinámica holomorfa y singularidades' (2012–2015).
• Contributions span over 50 peer-reviewed articles, with recent emphasis on cyclicity analysis, holomorphic curvature criteria, and Dulac map expansions.
