Prof. Dr. Wojciech SOSNOWSKI holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Warsaw and has been a member of the Languages and Intercultural Dialogue team at the College of Europe’s Natolin Campus since 2008. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. from the Institute of Slavic Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he specialized in Slavic linguistics.
He has authored/co-authored 10 books and over 50 academic articles across multiple languages, focusing on methodologies for language teaching, Slavic language structures, and corpus linguistics. Notable works include Polskie czytanki (2 volumes, co-authored with Wioletta GURDAK) and contributions to Włoskie spacery po Warszawie. His research spans lexicography, pragmalinguistics (honorifics and address forms), and contrastive grammar between Polish and Russian.
Prof. SOSNOWSKI teaches Russian language courses at the University of Warsaw’s Centre for Foreign Language Teaching and conducts university-wide lectures on Polish-Russian contrastive grammar and phonetics. His expertise also extends to teacher training and multilingual education.
