Wilmot Bonnet

Wilmot Bonnet, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He joined the faculty in July 2020. His research focuses on pediatric stroke prevention, treatment, and recovery, as well as genetic arteriopathies of childhood.

Research Interests: Dr. Bonnet’s work centers on improving outcomes for pediatric stroke patients through advanced treatment strategies, understanding genetic factors in childhood arteriopathies, and optimizing recovery mechanisms. His interdisciplinary approach integrates clinical care, translational research, and genetic analysis to address unmet medical needs in pediatric neurology.
