Willie Gin

Willie Gin is an Associate Professor at Sonoma State University, joining the faculty in Fall 2018 after previously teaching at Xavier University of Louisiana. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and maintains office hours in Stevenson Hall 3711 on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am by appointment.

Professor Gin's publications reveal consistent thematic threads connecting historical political analysis with modern technological challenges. His work demonstrates an interdisciplinary approach bridging political science, ethnic studies, and information technology to examine labor markets, minority coalitions, and structural inequalities through innovative case studies like baseball analytics and religious minority politics.
