William Storey

William Storey is a Professor of History and holds the Sanderson Chair in Arts and Sciences at Millsaps College, where he also serves as Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities. He is affiliated with the Department of History within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Research Interests: Storey specializes in the intersections of environment, technology, and imperialism in modern world history. His work examines colonial dynamics in Africa and Mauritius, global military conflicts, and historiography. Current projects include a book on Cecil Rhodes' vision of white power in Africa.
