William S. Lewis

William S. Lewis is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Skidmore College. Holding a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from Skidmore College, his work bridges Marxist materialism with social and political philosophy, critical theory, and philosophy of race/gender. As an expert on Louis Althusser's philosophy, he has made significant contributions to debates about dialectical logic, aleatory materialism, and the philosophy of social sciences.
