William Andrew Jennings is Distinguished Lecturer in Political Science at University of Tennessee, specializing in Comparative Politics and International Relations with focus on Africa, South Asia, and the Global South. PhD from University of South Carolina (2012). Multi-award-winning educator including APSA's Michael Brintnall Teaching Award (2016).
Research examines regional integration, hegemonic stability, and post-conflict development. Current projects analyze monetary unions in Southern Africa, Mauritian/Botswanan exceptionalism, and Chinese investment in Africa. Fieldwork conducted in Cameroon, South Korea, Southern Africa, Haiti, Israel/Palestine.
