William Cohn is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Texas A&M University, where he has been affiliated since 2006. He earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and his Ph.D. in Biology from Texas A&M University. His teaching focuses on integrated human anatomy and physiology, emphasizing clinical correlations and foundational scientific principles. Cohn’s research spans endocrinology, fish biology, and microbiology, with notable contributions to understanding hormonal regulation in red drum and bacterial chemotaxis mechanisms. He received the ΚΔ Professor of the Month award in 2006 and co-authored a widely used textbook for anatomy and physiology education.
Education:
- B.S. Biology, University of Texas at Austin
- Ph.D. Biology, Texas A&M University
