William Barbini serves as a violin faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), instructing in the Pre-College and Continuing Education departments. He holds a Diploma from The Juilliard School, where he studied under Ivan Galamian and Paul Makanowitsky. Beyond teaching, Barbini maintains an active performing career as concertmaster of the Monterey Symphony and music director of the Chamber Music Society of Sacramento. He has been a member of the New York Philharmonic and collaborates with groups like the San Francisco Contemporary Players and Music Now. His performances span festivals including Festival San Miguel Allende (Mexico), the Pacific Music Festival, and Other Minds Festival.
