William Ang'awa is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland, specializing in marketing and enterprise within the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism. He emphasizes embedding entrepreneurship education into curricula and has developed modules in marketing communications, global entrepreneurship, and business ethics. His research focuses on theoretical frameworks for entrepreneurship education. He serves on the University’s Academic Board and various committees, including Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility, and the Transnational Education Operations group. Ang'awa has been honored for his student-centered approach, winning the 'Most Student Oriented Lecturer' award. He also contributes to pastoral support through union and chaplaincy roles.
Teaching responsibilities include leading modules at international campuses (SEGi Malaysia, MDIS Tashkent/Singapore, and Hong Kong) and serving as an Academic Tutor for BA Business programs.
