Dr. Mark McPherson is an Associate Professor in Marketing at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the Department of Marketing, Enterprise & Tourism. He specializes in ethnic entrepreneurship, second-generation business practices, and marketing strategies targeting ethnic minority groups. His research explores themes like South Asian entrepreneurship, CSR skepticism, and cultural branding.
McPherson holds a PhD and has supervised multiple doctoral candidates, including three successful PhD completions and a DProf student. He is actively involved in curriculum design for Marketing and MBA programs, emphasizing equality, diversity, and industry collaboration. His teaching methods include case studies, simulations, and employer-driven residential trips.
