Wilfred McSherry is a Professor of Nursing at Staffordshire University and part-time Professor at VID University College, Bergen, Norway. He is also affiliated with University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. His career spans over three decades in acute hospital nursing, focusing on older adult care and end-of-life care. McSherry is renowned for pioneering research in spirituality in healthcare, having authored numerous books and articles. He holds Fellowships from the Royal College of Nursing and the Higher Education Academy.
