Wes Seals

Wes Seals is an Assistant Professor of Acting in the Department of Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). His professional career includes extensive work as an actor, director, and movement director across national and international stages, television, and web series. Notable roles include touring in the 25th Anniversary National Tour of Cats, performing with prestigious companies like Second Stage and SITI Company, and founding Windup Theatre Company in New York.

At VCU, he has directed productions such as Sense and Sensibility and She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms, and served as movement director for Two Gentlemen of Verona and Machinal. Upcoming projects include directing and choreographing James and the Giant Peach this Spring. His work spans theatre education, experimental performance, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
