Sarah Jane Brubaker

Sarah Jane Brubaker is a Professor and Assistant Chair of Criminal Justice programs at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, Virginia Commonwealth University. She directs the Certificate in Gender Violence Intervention program. Her research focuses on sexual/domestic violence, intersectionality, and criminal justice reform.

Brubaker's research explores race, gender, and class dynamics in criminal justice systems, adolescent risk factors, and reproductive health policy. Her work integrates feminist theory with practical policy solutions for violence prevention and social equity.
