Wenzhu David Tang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Flinders University in the Water, Environment and Food Economics Policy Group (WEF), affiliated with the College of Business, Government and Law (BGL) since July 2024. He also holds memberships in the Centre for Social Impact (BGL) and the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (College of Science and Engineering). His work bridges economics, data analytics, and policy analysis with a focus on water, agriculture, and digital markets.
David earned his PhD in online market consumer behavior (2019–2023), applying spatial analysis, big data, and machine learning to case studies in Daigou, e-commerce, and NFT markets. His technical expertise includes econometrics (Stata/R), Python-based data manipulation, and machine learning tools like AsReview and ChatGPT for systematic literature reviews.

- Collaborations: Works with industry partners and regional stakeholders in the Murray-Darling Basin, focusing on sustainable water management, drought/flood resilience, and climate change adaptation.
