Professor Wendy Erber is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Western Australia (UWA), holding appointments in the School of Biomedical Sciences. She is a diagnostic haematologist with expertise in haematological malignancies and translational research. Her roles include former Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (2015-2019) and Chair of the School of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She has held positions at the University of Cambridge (Head of Department and Lecturer, 2004-2011) and as Clinical Director of PathCentre (1997-2004).

She also advocates patient blood management and global health equity through initiatives like the Indian Ocean Rim Laboratory Haematology Congress.
