Wendy Duff is a Professor at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information, specializing in archival access, community archives, and the social justice impact of archives. Her research investigates how archives contribute to societal equity, particularly through projects like the Archival Metrics Program. She has secured grants from SSHRC, Mellon Foundation, and NHPRC to advance user-based evaluation tools in archives.
Her teaching includes courses such as INF2180H (Archives: Access, Advocacy and Outreach) and INF2121H (Specialized Archives). Duff has mentored students like Henria Aton, Amir Lavie, and Jamila Ghaddar in archival studies. Her awards include the Harold Lancour Award (University of Pittsburgh) and the C.E.W.
