Wendi L. Benson serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Marshall University, where she teaches Statistics, Research Methods, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology courses from her office in Harris Hall 306.
Her research expertise spans three interconnected domains:
- Student development initiatives focusing on attitudes, self-perception, performance, and retention
- Evaluation frameworks for substance abuse disorder treatment programs
- Organizational dynamics examining diversity climate, justice systems, leadership efficacy, and interpersonal relations within academic workplaces
As Principal Investigator of the Technological & Interpersonal Predictors of Success (TIPS) Lab, she directs a specialized research environment where undergraduate and graduate students gain hands-on experience in organizational consulting and quantitative program evaluation. The lab operates at the intersection of educational psychology and organizational behavior, emphasizing evidence-based solutions for institutional challenges.
