Wen-Yu Wu is a Research Fellow at the School of Psychology within the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. Their work focuses on migration and refugee studies, particularly examining im/mobilities, educational access for displaced populations, and critical humanitarian practices. Current research involves the 'Routes to Wellness' (formerly 'Forced to Flee') project, exploring participatory research methodologies to challenge traditional power dynamics in knowledge production.
Previous research investigated Syrian refugee students' educational trajectories in Lebanon and Jordan, critiquing humanitarian responses to higher education access. Their approach emphasizes reflexive, ethnographic methods and collaborative research frameworks.
