Weijia Ding is a Research Fellow at the Global Business School for Health at University College London (UCL), specializing in Innovation Studies, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Policy. She contributes to a European Research Council-funded project on international scientific consortia and science–industry collaboration in emerging technology governance.
Education:
- PhD in Strategy and Innovation (UCL Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy, 2020–present)
- MSc Urban Regeneration (UCL Bartlett, Distinction, 2013–2014)
Her research examines entrepreneurial universities in emerging economies, AI and emerging technologies, capacity building, and innovation diffusion across organizations and socio-economic contexts. Recent work focuses on innovation management and technology policy during the pandemic.
Teaching: Senior Post Graduate Teaching Associate at UCL STEaPP and UCL Faculty of Engineering Science.
