Dr. Wei-Han Su is a Professor of Piano and Keyboard Area Coordinator at Missouri State University's Department of Music (College of Arts and Letters). He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Peabody Conservatory, Master of Music and Performer’s Diploma from the Royal College of Music (London), and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Cambridge University. His career includes international concert performances across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with notable appearances at venues like the Queen Elizabeth Hall (London) and Moscow Conservatory’s Grand Hall. Dr. Su has performed with orchestras such as the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and released a CD of Charles Ives’ music with tenor Andrew Childs. He has received awards including the University Award in Teaching (2005) and the Chappell Gold Medal from the Royal College of Music. His teaching focuses on piano performance and pedagogy, with a legacy spanning institutions like the Peabody Conservatory and Missouri Fine Arts Academy.
Research and performance interests include classical piano repertoire, interdisciplinary musical collaboration, and innovative teaching methodologies.
