Sungeun Kim is a Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Performing Arts, Baldwin Wallace University. A Steinway Artist, she coordinates the Music Performance: Keyboard program and has an international performance and teaching career spanning multiple continents.
- Education: D.M.A. and M.M. from Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, B.M. from Yon-Sei University, Seoul, Korea
Her research and performance interests focus on piano performance, classical music interpretation, and keyboard pedagogy. She has performed extensively across the U.S., Canada, Russia, Spain, Korea, and Italy, including notable engagements with the Russian Federal Orchestra and at the Moscow Conservatory's Bolshoi Hall.
Kim actively contributes to music education through adjudication, master classes, and leadership roles in music teacher associations. Her recent work includes summer teaching at the BW Conservatory Summer Institute.
