Wei Gao is the Professor of Medical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), with affiliations as an Heritage Medical Research Institute (HMRI) Investigator (2021–), Ronald and JoAnne Willens Scholar (2021–2025), and Graduate Option Representative for Medical Engineering. He joined Caltech in 2017 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Professor in 2024.
