Dr. Juliane Sempionatto is an Assistant Professor and the James J. Truchard Endowed Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. Her research focuses on developing wearable biosensors for real-time health monitoring, energy harvesters, and innovative materials for medical devices. She holds a Ph.D. in Nanoengineering (UC San Diego), M.S. in Materials Science (UNESP, Brazil), and B.Sc. in Chemistry (USP, Brazil).
