Dr. Wayne Nelson is a Research Fellow at Cranfield University's Cranfield School of Management and an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the Bayes School of Business, City, University of London. He also serves as a Senior Partner at Deloitte Consulting, leading its strategy practice (Monitor Deloitte) in EMEA.
- PhD from Cranfield University, with degrees from Georgetown University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Founding Dean of the Deloitte Executive Leadership Institute
- Former Partner at Monitor Group and Managing Director for German/Swiss operations
His research focuses on strategic intent, managerial cognition, and executive leadership, co-authoring two key 2021 papers on strategic intent theory. Wayne consults on CEO readiness, board relations, and transformation programs (risk, digitalization, ESG), serving clients in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, banking, and government sectors. He is a member of both the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management.
