Warren McAdams

Warren McAdams is a Lecturer in Physical Therapy Programs at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences' College of Rehabilitative Sciences (Austin campus). He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University. As a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist, his expertise spans hospice care for infants, geriatric end-of-life care, and sports medicine for professional athletes.

His research and clinical specialties include:

• Palliative and hospice care across age groups
• Interprofessional education models
• Pediatric rehabilitation techniques

He was honored as a Top 16 Finalist for the 2023 Caregiver of the Year award. He contributes to professional standards as an item writer for the Pediatric Clinical Specialist board exam and clinical practice guideline development.

As a probationary firefighter/EMT, he integrates emergency medical expertise into his teaching. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and mentors through his healthcare consultancy Cultivating Empowerment.
