Marianne Hanover

Dr. Marianne Hanover is an Assistant Professor in the College of Rehabilitative Sciences at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, San Marcos campus. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from San Diego State University. Certified as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association (2019), she brings 25 years of clinical experience in early intervention, pediatric outpatient care, acute settings, orthopedics, and skilled nursing facilities.

Her research focuses on therapeutic interventions for children with Down Syndrome and Spina Bifida, and interprofessional education in Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. As an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, she integrates evidence-based practices into curriculum development.
