R. Ward Holder is Professor and Director for the Center for the Study of Religion and Public Life at Saint Anselm College. He teaches courses spanning political philosophy and theological studies, including Classical/Modern Political Theory, Reformation Theology, and Church-State relations.
Research interests focus on historical and contemporary intersections of theology and political thought, particularly Reformation-era political theology and modern Christian political engagement. Teaching encompasses biblical theology, medieval theological traditions, and race-theology connections.
