Waltraud Götz is a Lecturer at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, affiliated with the Musikwissenschaftliches Institut. She specializes in Gregorian chant, medieval music manuscripts, and liturgical studies. Her career spans over three decades with roles including DFG-funded researcher (2017–2022), lecturer in harmony and counterpoint, and organ studies. She holds a PhD from Tübingen (2001) and has been a professional church musician since 1990.
Research focuses on manuscript analysis of Württemberg monastic fragments and medieval liturgical practices.
