Walter Kennedy is an Associate Professor of Dance at the School of Music and Dance, University of Oregon. A renowned dancer and educator, he served as a principal dancer with the Lewitzky Dance Company for two decades and was trained by Bella Lewitzky to teach technique, improvisation, and composition. His career spans collaborations with choreographers like Lar Lubovitch and Laura Dean, and he has held leadership roles such as rehearsal director (1990–1997).
