Amanda Kay White is an Assistant Professor at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts, specializing in Dance Studies, Jazz, and Modern Dance instruction. She is also affiliated with Santa Ana College, Orange County School of the Arts, and South Coast Conservatory.
Her academic background includes a BFA in Dance Performance, BA in Communication Arts (Advertising), and MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University. Her research focuses on bodily knowledge, embodied cognition, and spatial theory through choreographic practices.
Her recent performance works like I am Dangerous and Blooming and The Emergent Self explore interdisciplinary collaborations using music, lighting, and costume design.
