Walid Hadi

Walid Hadi is a Teaching Professor at Florida State University Panama City's Electrical & Computer Engineering department. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Windsor (2013), an M.S. from Oklahoma State University (1998), and a B.S. from the American University of Beirut (1996). With over 12 years of teaching experience, he emphasizes hands-on laboratory work in courses like circuits, power systems, and electromagnetics.

His work combines theoretical analysis with Monte Carlo simulations to study steady-state and transient phenomena under extreme conditions.

Pre-FSU, Dr. Hadi was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia and a planning engineer at American Electric Power (AEP), where he conducted voltage stability studies and managed large-scale wind energy projects in Texas.
