Wai Fong Chua

Professor Wai Fong Chua is a distinguished academic in accounting practices at the University of Sydney Business School. She holds a first-class honours degree and PhD from the University of Sheffield. Her research focuses on management accounting as a social practice, qualitative fieldwork methodology, and the impact of technology on organizational control. She has contributed extensively to top-tier journals like Accounting, Organizations and Society and serves as its Editor. Her work explores big data analytics, NGO accountability mechanisms, and the interplay between emotions and accounting systems.
