WEN-CHEN SHIH is a Professor in the Department of International Business at National Chengchi University’s College of Commerce. Since 2004, she has held academic appointments at NCCU, advancing from Associate Professor to full Professor, and is recognized for her expertise in international economic and trade law, international environmental law, and climate change governance.
Education: She earned her LL.B. from National Taiwan University (1993), followed by an LL.M. (1995) and Ph.D. in Law (1999) from the University of London, United Kingdom.
Research Interests: Her scholarly work centers on the intersection of international trade law and environmental policy. Key themes include:

- Emissions trading systems and their WTO compatibility
