W. Michael Cox

W. Michael Cox is a Full-Time Faculty member and Professor at Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business, holding the title of Professor of Practice at the Bridwell Institute for Economic Freedom. He previously directed the O'Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom at SMU Cox from 2008 to 2015.

Education:

Dr. Cox is a distinguished economist and advocate for free markets, specializing in finance, macroeconomics, and the societal impacts of capitalism. His research explores how market systems drive progress and improve living standards, with a focus on globalization and economic policy.
