Dr. Véronique Forbes is Associate Professor of Archaeology specializing in circumpolar environmental archaeology. Her research reconstructs past living conditions through innovative analysis of insect remains from archaeological contexts across subarctic and arctic regions. Current fieldwork includes excavations at L'Anse aux Meadows UNESCO World Heritage Site, employing cutting-edge methods to investigate Norse-indigenous interactions.
