Vu Nguyen is a Physician Scientist and the Public Health Physician, Founder, and Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Population, Health and Development in Vietnam. His work bridges clinical practice and academic research in public health domains.
- Education: MD from Hanoi Medical School (1993), MPH from Brown University (2005)
Research Focus:
- NCDs (CVD, hypertension)
- Community-based mental health services
- e-Health applications for health equity
- Methodological challenges in minority populations
- Risk behaviors and service delivery disparities
