Vladimir Ignatov

Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Ignatov serves as a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Drawing and Modeling at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG). He has been affiliated with UACEG since 1989.

His educational background includes a Master's degree from the National Academy of Arts specializing in Sculpture.

Prof. Ignatov's research focuses on theoretical frameworks of art language across multiple levels of artistic expression. His work bridges practical application through monumental urban design elements, residential and public building design, and interior architecture. He actively participates in national and international sculptural competitions.

Prof. Ignatov is a member of the UBA Sculpture Section and maintains significant artistic presence through exhibitions across Europe including Poland, Russia, Germany, France, and Austria. His works are held in prominent collections including the National Art Gallery (Sofia), Sofia Art Gallery, regional Bulgarian galleries, and private collections throughout Europe.

His artistic practice encompasses both creative production and academic instruction, with studio cabinet A1018 serving as his workspace at UACEG.
