معرفی
Vladimir Arčabić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, where he has worked since 2009. He was elected an associate member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2024. His research focuses on macroeconomics, business cycles, applied econometrics, time series, and macroeconomic modeling, particularly convergence and nonlinearities in macroeconomics.
He has published in prestigious journals such as Economic Inquiry, Energy Economics, Economic Modelling, and Structural Change and Economic Dynamics. According to RePEc, he ranks in the top 25% of economists in Croatia by publication quantity and dynamics.
His awards include:
- Marijan Hanžeković Annual Award (2018)
- Mijo Mirković Award (2018, 2019)
- Annual Award for Overall Research Productivity (2021)
- Ljubomir Martić and Pero Jurković Awards (2023)
He has participated in projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, European Social Fund, and World Bank, among others. Since 2018, he teaches Topics in Applied Macroeconomics in the doctoral program and Principles of Macroeconomics at the University of Alabama's Study Abroad program.
