Vivek Naranbhai

Associate Professor Vivek Naranbhai is an immunologist and medical oncologist at Monash University's School of Translational Medicine, Department of Medicine. He transitioned from roles at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School to lead the Laboratory of Translational Immunology, focusing on antigen delivery and recognition for infectious disease and cancer therapies. With >95 publications in high-impact journals like Cell, Science, and Lancet Oncology, his work spans HIV immunology, tuberculosis genetics, and SARS-CoV-2 vaccine responses. Key contributions include establishing the International Tuberculosis Host Genetics Consortium and leading global sero-epidemiology studies during the pandemic.
