Vivek Krishnamurthy is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Law School and Director of the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic. He holds affiliations with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., where he serves as a Senior Associate of the Human Rights Initiative.
His education includes a Rhodes Scholarship and graduation from Yale Law School, followed by clerkship at the Supreme Court of Canada. His work focuses on technology law, human rights in cyberspace, and AI ethics, advising governments, corporations, and activists on regulatory challenges.
Key research areas include the intersection of technology with human rights, regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies, and cross-border legal cooperation in digital contexts. His publications address risk assessment tools in public policy, AI governance, and disruptions to international legal systems caused by cloud computing.
