Vishva Dixit

Vishva M. Dixit is Vice President and Senior Fellow in the Department of Physiological Chemistry at Genentech, where he has worked for 28 years. His research focuses on cellular signaling pathways in disease, particularly apoptosis, necroptosis, and pyroptosis, with a strong emphasis on the role of ubiquitin in inflammation and innate immunity. As a postdoctoral mentor, he has trained numerous scientists who have pursued successful careers in academia and industry.
