Virginie Mamadouh is a Senior Lecturer in Political and Cultural Geography at the University of Amsterdam's Department of Geography, Planning and International Development Studies. With affiliations to research institutes including the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) and former roles at the Amsterdam Metropolitan and International Development Studies (AMIDSt) and its predecessor AME, she has maintained a long-standing academic presence at UvA since 1996.
