Virginia Listach serves as the Clinical Director of the Southern University Law Clinics and holds the academic rank of Clinical Professor at Southern University Law Center. She oversees the Administrative/Family/Civil Law section, teaches Trial Advocacy, and coordinates skills training for students and public law attorneys. Additionally, she advises the SULC Moot Court Board and supervises the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project course.

Her professional expertise spans legal advocacy, clinical legal education, and administrative law. Prior to joining SULC in 1997, she served as Assistant Director and Administrative Law Judge Supervisor at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (1992–1997) and as an Assistant Attorney General for Louisiana (1988–1992).
Advising & Leadership: Directs the Law Clinics, mentors Moot Court Board members, and develops constitutional literacy initiatives. Her work focuses on bridging legal theory with practical skills for future attorneys.
Labs/Teams: Coordinates the Marshall Brennan Project and oversees the Administrative/Family/Civil Law section of the Law Clinics.
