Virgil Optasanu is a Lecturer at the University of Burgundy, affiliated with the University Institute of Technology, Dijon, specifically the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering. His research focuses on multi-physics couplings involving mechanical, thermal, diffusion, and chemical reaction phenomena, as well as the impact of mechanical surface treatments on metal corrosion. He works within the ICB UMR 6303 CNRS / uB laboratory.
